Olympics 2016 in Rio de Janeiro!

The votes have been counted! And Rio de Janeiro wins it as the next home of the Olympics 2016! Paulo Coelho earlier plurked that he's going to Copenhagen to join the Brazilian Delegation. He must be so happy right now. I've only first heard about Rio de Janeiro while playing the computer game Where in The World is Carmen Sandiego, LOL. Can you guess my age? But of course the city is worth more than that. Rio de Janeiro is the second largest city in Brazil. The Brazilians have good reasons to be proud as they become the first South Americans to host the prestigious Olympics games! Meanwhile, let's all gear up for Olympics 2012 in London. :)
